MELVILLE, NY, August 2, 2006 – Allion Healthcare, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALLI), a national provider of specialty pharmacy and disease management services focused on HIV/AIDS patients, has moved the date it will announce financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2006, to after the close of U.S. financial markets on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, from Thursday, August 3, 2006. An accompanying conference call to discuss the results will now be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. EDT; 1:30 p.m. PDT, rather than on Thursday, August 3, 2006.
Michael Moran, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, remarked, “We are finalizing our results somewhat later than anticipated, primarily because of the additional work required to incorporate the results from the second quarter acquisition of Whittier Goodrich Pharmacy, our largest transaction to date, which uses a separate independent computer system. We anticipate we will file our Form 10-Q on August 9th.”
